Artemis Program
NASA unveiled new details about its accelerated Artemis program during an October 23 press conference at Kennedy Space Center. Artemis III is targeted for summer 2027 and will test Orion docking with SpaceX Starship and Blue Origin's Blue Moon lander before the agency's planned crewed Moon landing in 2028.
Launch News
New FAA planning information identifies December 10 as the tentative date for SpaceX's first Starship launch from Florida, followed by Blue Origin's New Glenn return to flight no earlier than December 28. Both missions remain subject to vehicle readiness and regulatory requirements.
Blue Origin
Blue Origin is expanding its Florida operations with new launch pads, a $330 million upper-stage manufacturing facility, and two additional booster landing platforms. The company aims to support multiple New Glenn launches per week by the end of the decade.
